People are Congratulating RRR for their Victory - Oscar 2023

The Telugu film industry is celebrating the victory of director S.S. Rajamouli's blockbuster film "RRR," which has won an Oscar award for its song "Naatu..Naatu" in the Best Original Song category. This is the first time that any Indian film from regional cinema has won such a prestigious award, and political leaders in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have also praised the team for their achievement. The Academy Awards presentation took place in Los Angeles, USA, on Monday.



The first Indian film from regional cinema to receive the prestigious Oscar award is "RRR," which has garnered compliments from several political leaders in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Senior actor and former Union Minister K Chiranjeevi expressed his admiration for the team, particularly music composer M M Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava, and choreographer Prem Rakshit. He credited director SS Rajamouli for upholding the prestige of Indian cinema on the international stage and creating a new history. Tollywood director K. Raghavendra Rao tweeted his congratulations to the entire team of the "RRR" movie for bringing glory to Indian cinema.



Popular hero Mahesh Babu tweeted his congratulations to the team behind "RRR" for their phenomenal win at the Oscars, with their song "Naatu Naatu" crossing all boundaries. He specifically mentioned music composer M M Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose. Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan's uncle and Jana Sena Party chief, also praised the team, and Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jr NTR's uncle and a senior actor-politician, expressed his happiness over the recognition for "Naatu Naatu." The father of singer Rahul Sipligunj, Raj Kumar, who runs a hair-cutting salon, was thrilled that his son had gained international recognition by being part of the Oscar journey for "RRR" and performing on the Academy Awards stage.


Rajkumar, the father of singer Rahul Sipligunj, expressed immense pride and happiness over his son's recognition at the Oscars. He considered it a matter of great pride for India and stated that performing on the Oscars stage was a significant achievement.



Suchitra, the wife of lyricist Chandrabose and a popular choreographer in Tollywood, was overcome with emotion on seeing her husband collect the Oscar award on stage. She spoke about the effort that Chandrabose had put into writing the song, reflecting Telugu culture, food, and lifestyle, and how they had discussed every word together. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his son and State Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President A Revanth Reddy, and others all congratulated the "RRR" team on their historic Oscar win.
